The Magician Even if the world killed you, I would not forget you. BACKGROUND "From the get-go, Leaks was a recluse. He kept to himself in his neck of the woods, simply devoting his time and energy to the study of magic and it's elements. By sheer incident he happened upon a young male cat being pursued by a beast, whom Leaks warded off, presumably with the intent of rescuing the other. This kind of accident began happening again and again with this very same cat, until eventually they developed an awkward, almost one-sided seeming friendship. This was Leak's first and only true 'friend'. After a series of events that lead up to Leaks' home and the forest surrounding it going up in flames, there was a great misunderstanding between the two cats, resulting in Leaks swearing off friendship and emotional attachment. From there on he began to extract his own positive emotions and feelings. His sentiment, everything by means of his magic- which he eventually deposited into a host. Now, Leaks is known and feared. He manipulates the dead and mercilessly slaughters the living. He laughs at the suffering and struggle of Konoe, who must find a way to stop Leaks before it's too late." - From the Wiki. At the end of the game, the true story is revealed: Leaks was a budding sorcerer who lived in a forest isolated from every cat. It's not known who his father or mother was, but that they clearly don't live at this point of his life. Shui, a Sanga who was next in line to become Head Sanga of Ransen, was out in Leaks' forest looking for medicinal herbs but ended up being attacked by monsters. Leaks, who had pity for the red-haired cat, used his magic to ward off Shui's attackers. Their friendship was forged that day, and Leaks let him into his home. After some time, Shui explained to Leaks that he might not be able to see him for a long time, of which Leaks became upset that Shui would choose politics (of becoming a leader) over him. Unbeknownst to Leaks, Shui had been approached by a rival Head Sanga candidate and threatened to expose Leaks as a monster looking to kill the cats of the city. To protect Leaks, Shui promised not to visit him ever again. However, this was futile. Even though Shui followed this rival's directions, the cats of Ransen still attacked Leaks' forest and his home. Through the fires of burning trees, Shui and Leaks had one final encounter where Leaks' hatred overcame him, and he disappeared. Shui would be murdered by this rival Head Sanga. After Leaks 'dies', he admits that all he could feel was hatred for Shui, when all he wanted was to love him, and that his feelings were so strong--- even up until his demise. PERSONALITY "Leaks' personality can be described as callous, ascetic, and caustic. He clings to his own bitter feelings towards his past and ridicules those who are happier than he. Aloof, he strongly dislikes the presence of others and is a good example of a solitudinarian. Initially a young man living alone in the forest, he cared not of what others thought, content to do as he wished, pursuing his special interests. By means of a repeated occurrence of a certain cat in his life who seemed determined to become his friend, he softened to a degree. Fate unfortunately was not kind to either, and after assumed betrayal and the demise of his once 'friend', Leaks grew hard and unforgiving." - From the Wiki. ABILITIES Leaks is a self-taught magician, whose time spent reading hundreds of books has enabled him to cast spells as minor as a fireball to as major as raising the dead. It's also assumed he knows how to cast healing/non-destructive spells as well, from being able to mend Shui's wounds after encountering some beasts. As a hermit in a forest, he knows how to recognize medicinal plants, as well as being able to forage for food and safe plant life. He can cook basic foods and prepare some drinks. As a superficial Sanga, Leaks is capable of enhancing a Touga's fighting skills. Since his singing was learned from being around Shui as well as his own studies, he does not have the same strength as a natural Sanga (eg Shui and Konoe). But, he is able to also a Song's power--- Firi's sacrifice proves that Leaks can also accept the Song's strength.
